Entertaiment is anything that provides enjoyment or amusement. This includes activities such as watching movies, listening to music, playing games and attending social gatherings. It can also involve a sense of escape or recreation from day-to-day concerns and provide opportunities to experience pleasure in new ways. Entertaiment can be a form of education, or it can simply be an enjoyable activity. Oliver and Bartsch (2010) define entertainment as an objectively understood activity that communicates between text and audience, is derived from external stimulus, offers pleasure, requires an audience and occurs in a passive form. It is a type of consumer activity that creates value for consumers and allows business survival.
